Care for the land.

Jamesfield is a family farming business, G W Miller & Sons, with brothers Ian and Roy Miller at its heart. The Miller family bought the farm in 1941, and Ian began working here in 1961. Roy has been beside Ian throughout the journey, helping shape Jamesfield as a family business.

Concern for the land and the impact of agricultural chemicals helped shape Ian’s move towards organic farming in the 1980s. More than 40 years of organic farming remain an important part of Jamesfield’s story, and the farm is still organic today.

1941The Miller family buys Jamesfield Farm.
1961Ian begins working on the family farm.
2005Jamesfield Centre opens, bringing the restaurant and independent businesses together.

What’s organic at Jamesfield?

Our vegetables and potatoes, along with selected other farmshop products, are organic. The shop also stocks a wider range of products that are not organic. Our restaurant uses some organic ingredients, but the menu as a whole is not organic. Please ask our team about individual products and dishes.

Bundle boxes are made to order and require advance pre-ordering. Shop baskets are pre-order requests, not accepted orders. Jamesfield confirms products, prices, availability, collection times, delivery areas and fees directly. No payment is taken on this website. Collection: pay in person at Jamesfield Farmshop. Delivery: cash on delivery. No online payment.

Wine is for adults aged 18 and over. Age checks apply when supplying alcohol. Delivery requests require a confirmed product total over £45.
